Los Angeles, CA (January 10, 2018) – Saban Brands today announced “Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel,” which marks the global franchise’s milestone 25th season of the series, will premiere on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon in the U.S. This season will also feature an upcoming special anniversary episode that Power Rangers fans of all ages won’t want to miss.

The premiere episode of “Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel” will be the 886th episode to air, making it one of the longest-running programs in television history. Created by Haim Saban, the series, and subsequent movies including the 2017 feature film with Lionsgate, follows the adventures of a group of ordinary teens who morph into superheroes and save the world from evil. The TV show airs in 150 markets around the world and is translated into numerous languages. As a top-ranked action brand for decades with more than 150 licensees globally, Saban Brands will honor this incredible landmark season for the franchise with year-long consumer events, promotions and partnerships.
In “Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel,” the heroic teens find themselves face-to-face with an old enemy when they discover Madame Odius is still alive and more determined than ever to steal the Ninja Nexus Prism and revive its powers for her nefarious purposes. Now it’s up to the Rangers, and some unexpected help from new friends, to use the power of teamwork to protect the Prism, defeat Odius and save the world!
Following the premiere of “Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel” on Saturday, Jan. 27, all-new episodes continue Saturdays at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon in the U.S. Episodes from the previous season, Saban’s “Power Rangers Ninja Steel,” are currently available on Nickelodeon as well as on the Nick App or Nick.com, and fans can access the full Power Rangers library on Netflix.

Earlier today, Saban Brands and Hyper RPG announced the new Twitch program “Power Rangers Hyper Force”. A couple weeks ago this was teased in Saban Brands’ 25th Anniversary plans.
Power Rangers Hyper Force is the the first licensed property to live-stream a table-top role playing game on Twitch. This will be an interactive experience where fans can send their own Ranger avatar on missions and boss battles.
The story is set in the year 3016 at Time Force Academy. A team of Time Force Ranger cadets must band together to defeat an ancient evil who is set on unraveling the very fabric of the universe. Under the leadership of their mentor, Jen Scott (played by Erin Cahill), and with the show’s Game Master, Malika Lim, the newly minted Rangers will cross both time and space to complete their mission while running into many familiar eras (and faces) along the way.
The cast includes Peter Sudarso (@PeterSAdrian) who plays Preston the Blue Ranger in Power Rangers Ninja Steel, Andre the Black Nerd (@BlackNerd), Meghan Camarena (@Strawburry17), Paulie Schrier who played Bulk in numerous Power Rangers series, and Cristina Vee (@CristinaVee).
