On this episode we are interviewing Ellen Otsuka, Associate Game Designer for nWay Games’ Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. Legacy Wars has added the newest villain to the roster with the Wolf Duke Org, Zen-Aku from Power Rangers: Wild Force.

We talk with Ellen about her role as “The Lore Master” and her background in the gaming industry. Learn about her favorite thing she found while digging through Power Rangers history, all the details about Zen-Aku, the new Raids system she developed, the research process into bringing characters into the game and more!

Finally, Chris Peralta (Community Development) gives our listeners a present as he teases the status of Balance Changes, a new perk for VIP members, the upcoming Holiday arena, and when the next playable character will release!

First teased during San Diego Comic Con, the “Power Rangers Legacy Wars: Street Fighter Showdown” short film features Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver), Ciara Hanna (Gia Moran, Megaforce), and Peter Jang (Ryu)

Presented by Qualcomm Snapdragon and G Fuel and produced by Bat in the Sun (Super Power Beat Down) and Hasbro’s AllSpark Studios, Street Fighter Showdown pits Tommy Oliver, Gia Moran, Ryu and Chun-Li against M. Bison and evil Rangers summoned by Rita Repulsa to take over the Morphin Grid. With a new Power Coin forged by Ninjor called Crimson Hawk, Ryu is able to transform into the Ryu Ranger!

On this episode we are interviewing Chris Peralta, Community Development & Social Media Strategist for nWay Games. nWay is a developer and publisher of free-to-play mobile multiplayer games. They were founded in 2011 by gaming and startup veterans, who want to bring fun console-quality multiplayer games to the mobile platforms. They are the creators of Power Rangers: Legacy Wars.

We talk with Chris about nWay’s announcements at Power Morphicon and the 25th Anniversary, his role at nWay, the newly released Shadow Ranger, a tease for the upcoming Hyper Force Yellow Ranger, the fall release of RyuRanger‘s story from Bat in the Sun and more!
