It’s time to Ranger Up with @trekkieb47 as he talks all things Power Rangers on the Four Eyed Radio Network with RANGER COMMAND POWER HOUR!

In this episode, Eric interviews the writing and creative team behind Supermassive 2023, the sequel one shot crossover special with Radiant Black, Rogue Sun and The Dead Lucky.

We welcome back:

Kyle Higgins (@KyleDHiggins) – writer and creator for Image titles C.O.W.L., Hadrian’s Wall, Ordinary Gods, Radiant Black and NO/ONE; the Ultraman series for Marvel Comics, and he also wrote for the BOOM! Studios’ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, including Shattered Grid.

Ryan Parrott (@ThatRyanParrott) – creator and writer for Rogue Sun as well as other series including Dead Day, BOOM! Studios’ Go Go Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers.

Melissa Flores (@misty_flores)- writer, producer, consultant and creative executive with over a decade of experience. Her most recent work is the MassiveVerse title The Dead Lucky and co-writer of the Radiant Pink miniseries. She is also the current writer for the ongoing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Power Rangers Unlimited: HyperForce special.

Mathew Groom (@MathewGroom) – creator and writer for Inferno Girl Red, as well as the co-creator and writer for Self/Made and co-writer with Kyle on The Rise of Ultraman, The Trials of Ultraman, and The Mystery of Ultraseven. He is also a fellow Power Rangers podcaster on the Ranger Danger podcast (@rangerdcast) and writer on Mighty Morphin and the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special from BOOM! Studios.

Michael Busuttil (@m_busuttil) – designer and editor for Radiant Black, Ordinary Gods, Rogue Sun, The Dead Lucky, NO/ONE and Supermassive, among others. Along with Mat, he is also one of the hosts of the Ranger Danger podcast.

We discuss how the new Supermassive special was planned, how the characters change as a result of the special, Spawn, the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special and more!

At the time of this episode’s release, SuperMassive 2023 is out now. Radiant Black Volume 4 and issue 25 (issue 1 of the Catalyst War) are out now. Radiant Pink Volume 1 is out now. Rogue Sun issue 14 is out now and issue 15 will release on August 23rd. The Dead Lucky issue 7 is out now and issue 8 releases on August 23rd. It’s time to Ranger Up with your hosts as they talk all things Power Rangers on the Four Eyed Radio Network with RANGER COMMAND POWER HOUR!

Hosts Eric and Theresa attended the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo 2023 and report back with a ton of great panels.

First off we interview GlobalComix, bringing comics like BOOM! Studios catalog among others, to a worldwide audience.

Next, we take a break from C2E2 to talk to Chris Ace about Fayetteville Comic Con and the Jason David Frank Tribute, raising money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in person and online on April 22-23, 2023. Speaking of JDF, fans at C2E2 host their own tribute panel and celebrate his life.

Then, Eric has the opportunity to meet Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and participate in a roundtable press interview. Eric asks about the MMPR vs. TMNT crossover comics.

Continuing, Kyle Higgins hosts the MassiveVerse panel with several creatives to discuss the upcoming events for the comics in that universe.

Finally, legendary anime voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch discusses his career not only as Power Ranger Adam Park, but his many roles across animation.

On this episode we are interviewing Kyle Higgins, best known in Ranger Nation as the writer for Boom Studios’ Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers comic series. His other comic works include C.O.W.L., The Dead Hand, Nightwing, and Batman Eternal to name a few. He is also a Director who worked on The League, The Shadow Hours and the live action Shattered Grid trailer.

Kyle talks about how he became a Power Rangers fan, his time writing the Power Rangers series, Shattered Grid, future plans, his upcoming Power Morphicon appearance and more!
