Rise of the Psycho Rangers

It’s time to Ranger Up with @trekkieb47 as he talks all things Power Rangers on the Four Eyed Radio Network with RANGER COMMAND POWER HOUR!

Today we are interviewing Jonathan Ying, best known in Ranger Nation as the Game Designer for Renegade Games’ Heroes of the Grid. Some of the other games he has designed include: Star Wars: Imperial Assault, Bargain Quest, DOOM: The Board Game, Sonic the Hedgehog: Dice Rush, and more.

The newest Kickstarter campaign for the Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid expansion, Rise of the Psycho Rangers, launches on Tuesday, May 12th. We delve into the details of the expansion, including some new information on game modes, pack-ins, artists for the campaign and more.

Jonathan also goes into some of the thought processes behind the scenes to bring this expansion, and others, to life.

LIVE FROM C2E2 2020! Hosts Eric and Zach attended the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo and recorded the podcast LIVE at Podcast Central presented by Chuck Load of Comics.

On the show floor, Eric and Zach covered the latest news coming from BOOM! Comics and New York Toy Fair: the Ranger Slayer one-shot in June, news from ComicsPRO, Turtle Rangers and Ninja Rangers debut, the announcement of Power Rangers Season 28, the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger and more!

Then, hours before the Team Rider fan meetup, Eric and Zach interview David Clarke, Brand Manager at BlueFin and part of Team Rider. We discuss their process for choosing which Kamen Rider products to bring over, fan participation and growing exposure in the United States.

Next, we present highlights from the Jason David Frank and Jason Faunt spotlight panel. They answer fan questions and go deeper into living in the moment and following your passions.

She is also noted to play the first lead female character for the Call of Duty franchise, as Chloe ‘Karma’ Lynch in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Erin talks about her time on Power Rangers and how playing Jen made her grow as a person, inspiring women around the world, advice to all artists and more! We also discuss the resurgence of the character of Jen during the 25th Anniversary through the Boom! Studios Shattered Grid event, HyperRPG’s HyperForce and nWay’s inclusion of Jen in Legacy Wars.

Finally, Erin discusses her favorite roles after Power Rangers Time Force throughout her career, favorite fan encounters and her charitable work.
