In advance of Toy Fair 2020, The Toy Association has announced the finalists for the 2020 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards. In the Action Figure of the Year award, the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Ultrazord Figure by Hasbro has been nominated. This is the only Power Rangers related toy to be nominated this year.

There is strong competition in this category with Marvel Legends, Toy Story, Bakugan and more. Will the Beast-X Ultrazord come out on top to win? The winners will be announced at the TOTY Awards gala on Friday, February 21, 2020, which kicks off Toy Fair New York. NEWS – Chicago Toy and Game Fair 2019

Chicago’s Original Play Experience for Families Kicks-Off the Holiday Season at Navy Pier

CHICAGO, IL (Nov. 5, 2019) – The holiday season will blast-off with the World’s Largest Kid-Powered Rocket as part of the 17th annual Chicago Toy and Game (CHITAG) Fair. Taking place Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Navy Pier (600 E. Grand Ave., Chicago), CHITAG Fair will host 30,000 attendees for a playful weekend discovering the hottest holiday toys and games.

The CHITAG Fair is North America’s largest toy and game fair open to the public and will feature more than 125 interactive exhibits, immersive events and activities for all ages, created by leading toy and game brands from around the world.

Now in its 17th year, the CHITAG Fair has become a much-anticipated tradition for toy and game lovers of all ages in Chicagoland and around the world. The Fair takes place annually the weekend before Thanksgiving, when tens of thousands of attendees kick-off the holiday shopping season by experiencing toys, games and entertainment properties first-hand.

“CHITAG Fair is Chicago’s original play experience,” said CEO and founder Mary Couzin. “This year, we’re taking the experience to new heights, launching the World’s Largest Kid-Powered Rocket, along with sneak peeks of some of the hottest holiday toys!”

On Sunday, October 27th, Hasbro revealed a new addition to WAVE 4 of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection at MCM Comic Con in London: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Zeo Blue Ranger Figure!

As noted in the description of the new figure reveal, Wave 4 will also include the S.P.D. RED RANGER and BEAST MORPHERS CYBERVILLAIN BLAZE figures. There will also be a price increase from $19.99 to $21.49.

Later this month, Hasbro will be showcasing its Transformers and Power Rangers brands along with partner brands Star Wars and Marvel at Paris Comic Con, MCM Comic Con London, Lucca Comics & Games, Manga Barcelona (with German Comic Con Dortmund coming later in December).

NEWS – Hasbro Launches #HasbroToyPic Campaign for Power Rangers

The celebration of National Power Rangers Day continues and to kick off this years celebration, Hasbro is calling all of Ranger Nation to share their love and appreciation for all things Power Rangers with the first-ever official #HasbroToyPic campaign for the brand! The campaign will run through September 30, 2019.

Leading the charge with official ambassadors such as @SgtBananas and Professional toy photographer Mitchel Wu of Mitchel Wu Toy Photography, fans are encouraged to use #HasbroToyPic and #PowerRangers across social media platforms to share photographs of their Power Rangers figures.

Photographs can range from snapshots of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection to imaginative scenes featuring the Power Rangers. Throughout the campaign, some photos using the #HasbroToyPic hashtag may be featured on the Hasbro Pulse Instagram.
