The Power Rangers Cosmic Fury panel was hosted by Andre Meadows (@blacknerd). He was joined by the Power Rangers Dino Fury cast to discuss the newest season and updates about Cosmic Fury!

The second half of Season 2 (Episodes 12-22) has dropped exclusively on NETFLIX and is available now.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will be 10 episodes and drop on the same day worldwide on Netflix in 2023, eliminating the “international spoilers” frustration. Cosmic Fury will feature all new suits for morphed ground fights and will utilize footage from Uchu Sentai KyuRanger for the Zord footage.

There was also a special surprise as David Yost and Walter Jones announced their return to the franchise with a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special.

Coming off the heals of the release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers landmark Issue 100 this past week, Boom! Studios writers, Ryan Parrott and Melissa Flores spoke with Andre to give details on the future of the comics series.

It’s time… morphin’ time! The Street Fighter Pack and digital version of the brand-new Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid – Super Edition, are available today!

The Street Fighter Pack, featuring Ryu and Chun-Li, is now available for $12.50 across PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Steam, and Stadia. Players can also buy each character individually for $5.99.

The Street Fighter Pack contains:

  • Ryu, Crimson Hawk Ranger
  • Chun-Li, Blue Phoenix Ranger
  • Angel Grove Class of 93 skins for both characters

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid – Super Edition, is a collection of all the game’s DLC released thus far, plus the newly announced Street Fighter Pack, along with some exclusive items available only in this very special edition.

The Super Edition will launch digitally on May 25 with a physical boxed version to follow in July. The Super Edition will be sold for $49.99 and available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Steam and Stadia. Upgrade Kits to the Super Edition will also be available to those who already own Battle for the Grid.

The First Lady of Street Fighter, Chun-Li enters the Morphin’ Grid as the Blue Phoenix Ranger!

Originally announced yesterday by IGN, nWay announced that Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Street Fighter pack will include an alternate skin for Chun-Li!

In addition to the Blue Phoenix Ranger outfit, Chun-Li will also receive an Angel Grove Class of ’93 Skin which features Chun-Li in 1990’s style as a graduating member of Angel Grove High School!

NEWS – Power Rangers Battle for the Grid Super Edition and Street Fighter Pack Announced

Originally announced yesterday by IGN, nWay announced that PRBFTG is having a morphinominal cross-over with none other than Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise in the upcoming Street Fighter Pack and the brand new Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid – Super Edition, created with their partners at Hasbro and Lionsgate. You’re going to see Ryu and Chun-Li morphing into Power Rangers to duke it out against the roster of fan-favorite Power Rangers and villains.

Ryu enters the Morphin Grid with the new Street Fighter Pack.

Lord Zedd has weakened the Morphin Grid and is starting to break down the walls between realities. Ryu finds himself transported to the world of the Rangers where he acquires a Power Coin and takes on the mantle of the Crimson Hawk Ranger. Ryu brings to the battle his trademark stoic, reserved poise and a lifetime of Shotokan training. His fluid, almost water-like fighting style is deadly at both range and up close, with his moves executed using classic, genre-defining input commands. Keep opponents on their toes from a distance with classic Hadouken, or punish aggressive play up close with his Tastumaki Senpukyaku or iconic Shoryuken.

Chun-Li Ranger is a brand new character created by nWay in partnership with Capcom and the POWER RANGERS creative team. Street Fighter characters first crossed over into Power Rangers: Legacy Wars last spring and marked one of the most successful events in the game’s three year history as it introduced Ryu Ranger, a POWER RANGERS: Legacy Wars exclusive character where Ryu received a Power Coin and morphed into a Power Ranger. Now filled with the power of the Blazing Phoenix, Chun-Li’s moves can set her opponent ablaze with blue phoenix fire. Flip in with a Kasairyuu (Volcano Kick) into Houohmai (Phoenix Dance), activate your super to unleash a brutal Senhoukyaku (Thousand Phoenix Kicks), then toy with your foe as they deal with the heat.

As part of Chun-Li Ranger’s introduction to POWER RANGERS: Legacy Wars, all prior Street Fighter characters—including Ryu, Guile, M. Bison, Cammy, Akuma, Chun-Li, and Ryu Ranger—will be available for sale in-game once more.

Street Fighter ShowdownLast night, nWay released the newest live action video for Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. First teased during San Diego Comic Con, the “Power Rangers Legacy Wars: Street Fighter Showdown” short film features Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver), Ciara Hanna (Gia Moran, Megaforce), and Peter Jang (Ryu)

Presented by Qualcomm Snapdragon and G Fuel and produced by Bat in the Sun (Super Power Beat Down) and Hasbro’s AllSpark Studios, Street Fighter Showdown pits Tommy Oliver, Gia Moran, Ryu and Chun-Li against M. Bison and evil Rangers summoned by Rita Repulsa to take over the Morphin Grid. With a new Power Coin forged by Ninjor called Crimson Hawk, Ryu is able to transform into the Ryu Ranger!

We answer such questions as our least favorite series of Power Rangers, podcast tips, the MMPR Movie date pushback, our thoughts on Ninninger and Kamen Rider Drive, and what we think we’ll see Power Rangers related at San Diego Comic Con.
