More Rangers from Across the Morphin Grid Rise Up this Summer at BOOM! Studios in POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: HYPERFORCE #1
The HyperForce Rangers join the fight July 2023

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 19, 2023) – BOOM! Studios continues to celebrate the Rangers’ 30th Anniversary as prolific Power Rangers storyteller Melissa Flores (Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, Radiant Pink) and acclaimed writer, media personality and voice of the HyperForce Pink Ranger in the HyperForce RPG,  Meghan Camarena (Radiant Pink, Radiant Black), along with artist Federico Sabbatini (Moon Knight, The Dead Lucky) and colorist Bryan Valenza (Witchblade, Ghost Rider), bring the fan-favorite HyperForce Rangers from the beloved TTRPG web-series to the page–for their first dedicated full-length story since their morphinominal first season in the POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: HYPERFORCE one-shot!

Mistress Vile, formerly known as Rita Repulsa, and Dark Specter have invaded the Morphin Grid! As the dark contagion spreads and puts the Rangers in their most vulnerable state yet, the HyperForce Rangers will have to scour the multiverse for as many unexpected allies as they can, while they’re pushed to their limits…

A writer/producer based in Los Angeles, Melissa worked as a creative executive for the Power Rangers brand for nearly a decade before transitioning to becoming a full-time writer. Her Image Comics series The Dead Lucky, a Massive-Verse title, released this year. She co-writes the Massive-Verse comic book miniseries Radiant Pink, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for BOOM! Studios and has also written for Marvel and Oni Press.

HYPERFOOORCE! It’s nearly impossible to put into words how excited I am to be revisiting the special group of chaotic misfits that is the HyperForce team with Meghan, Federico and BOOM! Studios,” said co-writer Melissa Flores. “I’ve never forgotten the incredible amount of love the TTRPG series received from the fans, and I’m so thankful to be able to pay back just a little bit of that with a new adventure for them in this medium.”

Meghan Camarena is a writer, host, and professional gamer based in Los Angeles. Her most recent works include co-creating and co-writing Radiant Pink, a Massive Verse title for Image Comics, as well as starring as the 25th Anniversary Pink Power Ranger, voicing Kimberly Hart in the Battle for the Grid video game, and working as a celebrated Internet personality, helping to shape the face of modern digital entertainment for the last 16 years. Meghan is set to release a series of new projects this year and is excited about her new endeavor with BOOM! Studios.

“WE DID IT! Hyperforce lives thanks to the incredible Melissa Flores, Frederico Sabbatini, and BOOM! Studios,” said co-writer Meghan Camarena. “Together, we’re telling the Hyperforce tale right where it left off and you’re never going to guess where it takes us. Thank you to the fans for always believing in these characters and waiting for us to finish the story. It’s meant so much to me to bring Chloe back to life and I can hardly wait for you to read what she’s been up to!”

Federico Sabbatini is a comic book artist living in Rome. He has worked for several publishing houses such as Marvel Comics (Moon Knight, Star Wars, The Amazing Spider-Man), Archie Comics, Aspen Comics, and recently for BOOM! Studios. He has illustrated several covers for Image Comics including Radiant Black, The Dead Lucky, and No/One.

“Working on Power Rangers is a dream come true! I’ve been a huge fan of the series since when I was a child and I wish I could tell the Federico of twenty years ago that this day was going to come,” said artist Federico Sabbatini. “Working with Melissa and Meghan was amazing, we are a great team!”

POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: HYPERFORCE #1 features a standard cover by Keyla Valerio (Power Rangers Unlimited: The Death Ranger), with variants by fan-favorite artists Goñi Montes and InHyuk Lee.

Power Rangers Unlimited is such a fun title to work on, since we get to bring in beloved Power Rangers characters from across time and space… and from across different media!” said editor Allyson Gronowitz. “With HyperForce, I’m especially excited to spotlight a Rangers team that has as much wit and personality as their creators — who just so happen to be the enthusiastic writing duo on this monumental one-shot as well.”

A New Threat Emerges for the Power Rangers this Summer at BOOM! Studios
Witness the Rise of the DRAKKON RANGERS in June 2023

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 17, 2023) – To celebrate the monumental 30th Anniversary of the hugely influential Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise, writer Adam Cesare (Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal), and Mighty Morphin artist Moisés Hidalgo (Dark Blood), along with colorist Arthur Hesli (Heavy Metal Magazine), and letterer Ed Dukeshire (Irredeemable) enter the Grid this summer with POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: THE COINLESS–a new 40-page one-shot from BOOM! Studios, available June 2023.

As if the medium-spanning, fan-favorite villain Drakkon wasn’t enough of a threat, Mistress Vile has special plans of her own… ones that will bring the Rangers’ greatest foe into our world! But this scheming isn’t without consequences for Drakkon, and he’ll have to take a page from Zordon’s book if he wants the world of The Coinless to survive.

Adam Cesare is the writer of the Bram Stoker Award-winning Clown in a Cornfield series, the comic Dead Mall (with artist David Stoll), and several other novels and novellas including the cult hit Video Night. An avid fan of horror cinema, you can watch him talk about movies on YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and the rest of his socials.

“I got to work in the world of the Power Rangers once before, a short story way back during Shattered Grid, and I’ve wanted back in ever since. And to get to help tell this story? Drakkon assembling a new team of rangers? And the Coinless world is super messed up so the storytelling’s coloring with shades of George Romero and Mad Max? And Moisés Freakin’ Hidalgo? Come on. This is incredible,” said Cesare.

Moisés Hidalgo is one of the newest freelance comic book artists and illustrators living in Santiago, Chile. Influenced by American comics and manga, he’s been drawing for four years, after studying at the Arcos Professional Institute of Art and Communications in Santiago, Chile. Active in the industry since 2018, he was published with Ariete and ActionComics in his home country. In 2020, he worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in 2021 he worked on Dark Blood, and from 2020 to 2022 he was the series artist for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers at Boom! Studios.

“Coming back to work with Power Rangers and Boom! Studios is such a special thing for me. As another Chilean (Pedro Pascal) says ‘This is the way.’ Adam´s scripts are really fantastic, and it’s a joy to draw each page. We are all doing our best work for all fans of the Power Rangers universe,” said Hidalgo.

POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: THE COINLESS features a standard cover by Dan Mora (Once & Future), and variant covers by Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and Stephanie Hans (Journey into Mystery).

“Bringing back Adam to write this horror-infused Power Rangers one-shot was a no-brainer. Seeing his vision come to life with the incredible art from Moisés is a treat for every Power Rangers fan, and is a story I’m incredibly proud of,” said editor Allyson Gronowitz.

Dark, Cosmic Obsession at the Heart of POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: THE DEATH RANGER  #1
Discover a Shocking Secret Hidden From the Power Rangers as They CHARGE TO 100 in August 2022

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 22, 2022) – BOOM! Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), a global play and entertainment company, today revealed a first look at POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: THE DEATH RANGER #1, an exciting new one-shot special issue by fan favorite writer Paul Allor (Power Rangers: The Psycho Path), with art by rising star artists Katherine Lobo (Magic) and Kekovsky “Anna” Chandra (Power Rangers Unlimited: Countdown to Ruin #1), colors by Fabi Marques (Batman: The World), Sara Antonellini (Power Rangers), and Sharon Marino (Mighty Morphin, Power Rangers), and letters by Eisner Award-nominated Ed Dukeshire, presenting a brand new story about a mysterious and deadly Ranger whose unearthly secret might spell doom for everyone in the Morphin Grid . . .

The LEGENDARY OMEGA RANGERS defended the universe from evil thousands of years ago, the six of them using their elemental powers to protect others from sinister forces. But that all changed when one key member became obsessed with death-defying powers from a terrifying source. How does this Ranger connect to what’s locked in the mysterious Omega Vault in Safehaven so many millennia later, as everything converges in the milestone comic book event CHARGE TO 100?

POWER RANGERS UNLIMITED: THE DEATH RANGER #1 features main cover art by Keyla Valerio (Mighty Morphin) and variant cover art by highly acclaimed illustrators Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin), Derrick Chew (Harley Quinn), and more.
