NEWS – Power Rangers Cosmic Fury Production Stills Leaked + New Preview Clip

Last week we got the official press release of the September 29th premiere date for Power Rangers Cosmic Fury as well as confirmation of David Yost joining the cast.

This week, Netflix released their monthly “New on Netflix” video for September 2023 which includes a brief cut of new footage from Cosmic Fury.

Thanks to a leak from Netflix Life, we also have new production stills from the Netflix Media Center. Please note that according to the picture’s file names, it looks like these images were supposed to release starting September 1st. We reached out to Netflix’s Press Contact for Power Rangers, but have not heard back at the time of publication of this article.

Synopsis
The newest installment in the Power Rangers saga, Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury follows the team from Power Rangers: Dino Fury who embarks on a new journey into outer space. As they navigate their way through this new territory, they will uncover new Cosmic abilities and work together to fend off the return of the infamous villain Lord Zedd and save the universe.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury welcomes you to outer space! For the first time in nearly three decades, Power Rangers is entering into a third season with the same core cast of Rangers: Russell Curry (Zayto); Hunter Deno (Amelia Jones); Kai Moya (Ollie Akana); Tessa Rao (Izzy Garcia); Chance Perez (Javi Garcia); Jordon Fite (Aiyon) and Jacqueline Joe (Fern). The Dino Fury Rangers are going to space with new powers, new costumes, new weapons, and, of course, new Zords! 13-year-old Sage lives on an isolated lunar colony with her adoptive father, but her days on the farm will change forever when she comes across a wreckage with wounded passengers, people from an academy training to be something called… POWER RANGERS. For the first time, discover the amazing school where Rangers are made!

 

Maria Ingrande Mora (they/she) is a content designer and Florida native. Their queer YA debut, Fragile Remedy, was selected as Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. Jo Mi-Gyeong is a comic artist living in Seoul, South Korea. She’s an artist on the EVE series for BOOM! Studios. She’s also participated in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance comics for BOOM! Studios, Beastlands for Dark Horse Comics, and the storyboards of STAR-CROSSED comics for Riot Games.

“Creating the details of this new world for Ranger Academy was a lot of fun for me.
