We also discuss the 5 year anniversary of Saban Brands in our news segment as well as Questions From Ranger Nation. We answer such questions as our least favorite series of Power Rangers, podcast tips, the MMPR Movie date pushback, our thoughts on Ninninger and Kamen Rider Drive, and what we think we’ll see Power Rangers related at San Diego Comic Con.

Then we get a little batty as we discuss our own Ranger related beatdowns.

David J. Fielding

It’s time to Ranger Up with @trekkieb47 @secretrangerfan & @ZachLaVoy as they talk all things Power Rangers on the Four Eyed Radio Network with RANGER COMMAND POWER HOUR!

Today we are interviewing David J.Fielding, best known in Ranger Nation as Zordon, the Power Rangers’ mentor in Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers through In Space. He voiced Zordon in the first season of the show and his likeness was used for all of Zordon’s appearances.

David holds two degrees in acting – a BFA from Texas State and an MFA from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to his stage and film work, David has provided voice work for video games, including Empire Earth, Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna, and Anvil of Dawn.

His published works have appeared in Nevermet Press; Rebel ePublishers LLC, Source Point Press, the Capes and Clockwork Anthology from Dark Oak Press and the recently released Something Strange is Going On anthology from Flinch! Books. His novella Buddy Holly and the Cold, Cold Ground was released by Cool Beans in October 2014.

Power Rangers Feature Film Release Date Changed!

Last year Saban Brands and Lionsgate announced a tentative date for the Power Rangers feature film of July 22, 2016. When Roberto Orci left as Executive Producer, Ranger Nation began to speculate if the movie would still be released on that date.

Now, Deadline is reporting that the new release date is Martin Luther King Jr. weekend of 2017, January 13th.

Update 12-17-2015: Variety reports the movie’s new release date is March 24th, 2017. Confirmed by the movie’s Instagram account.

This gives recently announced director Dean Israelite some more time to complete the movie.
