On this episode, we celebrate 50 (regular) episodes by doing what we do best, a normal episode.

We discuss the final Power Rangers Dino Charge confirmed episode titles, the 2nd WeLoveFine Power Rangers Design contest, and review Episode 10 of Dino Charge, “The Royal Rangers”.

Then we answer what most attracts us to the Power Rangers Franchise, a final thought on SPOILERS and we read your answers to our question of which PR anniversary/milestone episode was your favorite.

Finally, we have a headache about cosplay and body shaming, then lighten things up with bloopers!

POWER MORPHICON ANNOUNCES FIRST WAVE OF GUESTS, CAST FROM KYORYU SENTAI ZYURANGER AND GOSEI SENTAI DAIRANGER TO ATTEND

Pasadena, CA – The three-day event will be held on August 12th-14th, 2016, at the Pasadena Convention Center.

Yuuta Mochizuki, best known for his role as Geki, the red Tyranno Ranger, from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, will be making his second appearance at Power Morphicon.

Fellow Zyuranger cast members Seiju Umon , Reiko Chiba, and Takumi Hashimoto will be attending their first Power Morphicon event.

Seiji Umo, known for his role as Goushi, is the (black) Mammoth Ranger.

Reiko Chiba played Mei, the (pink) Ptera Ranger. After Zyuranger, Chiba made her J-Pop debut as a member of Aurora Gonin Musume. Chiba’s voice work includes playing herself in the anime movie Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture and the voice of Cham Cham in the Samurai Showdown video game series.

Takumi Hashimoto played Boi, the (yellow) Tiger Ranger. He later provided the voice of King Ranger, in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger and had a role in Denji Sentai Megaranger as a classmate of the Megarangers.

Appearing for the 1st time at Power Morphicon, Keiichi Wada, best known for his role as Ryo of the Heavenly Fire Star, in Gosei Sentai Dairanger. Wada also played the first Kamen Rider Ryuki, Koichi Sakakibara and Akiba Red (Alternate Timeline) in Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Season 2.

Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger was the basis for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The White Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers originated from Gosei Sentai Dairanger, known as the “Kiba Ranger”.

Power Rangers is a live action television series featuring a team of heroes in bright colored costumes, saving the world from evil on a daily basis. The show uses Japanese footage from Super Sentai, “Super” referring to mecha and “Sentai” is the Japanese word for “task force or ”fighting squadron”, produced by Toei Company. The show was first produced by Saban Entertainment, later by BVS Entertainment and as of 2015, by SCG Power Rangers. The very first season of Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, debuted on August 28th, 1993.

As of 2015, the franchise has 22 seasons with 19 different themed series and two theatrical films, with a third film  currently in development with Lionsgate, with a January 13th, 2017 release date.

The three-day event brings in over 7,000 people from all over the world to participate in cosplay events, panels featuring all guests, breakfast with the guests, martial arts classes/demo, prop/FX workshops, and more. WHEN:  Thursday, August 6 – Sunday, August 9

WHERE: Ashton Court Estate, Bristol, England

WHAT: For the first time ever Saban’s Power Rangers participated in the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. As one of the largest balloon festivals in the world, an estimated 500,000 spectators were in attendance and watching as more than 100 hot air balloons took to the skies during the four-day celebration. Saban’s Power Rangers debuted two brand-new Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers balloons at the festival’s Night Glow event on Thursday evening. As the only brand with two balloons featured in the event, the Power Rangers balloons were designed in the likeness of the iconic Red and Pink Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers helmets. Visitors of the festival were also able to watch the Power Rangers balloon teams prep, inflate, launch and land the POWERED UP balloons throughout the remaining three days of the event.

“The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is a weekend of non-stop family fun, which is a perfect fit for Saban’s Power Rangers brand,” said Gustavo Antonioni, Managing Director, Consumer Products EMEA at Saban Brands. “The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers are a pop-culture phenomenon and fans of all ages loved seeing the larger-than-life Red and Pink Ranger balloons flying high in the sky.”

U.K. fans can tune-in to Saban’s Power Rangers Super Megaforce airing daily on POP at 8:30 a.m. and Kix at 12 p.m. The all-new season, Power Rangers Dino Charge, will debut August 31 at 7:30 a.m. on POP.
