BOOM! Studios Releases Super-Rare 2020 Convention Variants For The First Time

Discover BOOM! Studios’ Unreleased 2020 Convention Exclusives Available in February 2021

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 18, 2020) – BOOM! Studios announced today that it would be making available, for the first time, some of the most rare convention variants in company history. Originally scheduled for release in 2020 as part of key convention stops around the United States, these variant covers will now be exclusively available in extremely limited quantities through comic shop retailers on February 24, 2021.

These never-before-seen convention variants are available for the first time ever:

  • Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #45 Showcase Variant
    $40 each
    Cover art by Felipe Massafera.
    Limited to 300 copies.
    Originally scheduled to debut at Wondercon 2020

  • Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Limited Edition Softcover
    $20 each
    Cover art by Dan Mora.
    Collects the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1-6.
    Limited to 500 copies.
    Originally scheduled to debut at Comic-Con International 2020.

  • Power Rangers: Ranger Slayer #1 Convention Exclusive Variant
    $40 each
    Cover art by Dan Mora.
    Limited to 300 copies.
    Originally set to debut as part of BOOM! Studios 2020 Convention Tour.

  • Power Rangers: Drakkon New Dawn #1 Convention Exclusive Wraparound Variant
    $50 each
