Hasbro just unveiled an all-new MORPHINOMINAL role-play item, the Power Rangers Dino Fury Chromafury Saber!
The Chromafury Saber uses color-scanning technology and motion-activated light and sound effects that that lets kids and fans imagine leaping into action as their favorite Ranger. To achieve the Chromafury-design, the saber uses LEDs and a light sensor in the bottom of the hilt to measure the reflected light color. Then, it translates that into a mixed LED color at the blade. Let’s just say, there’s a fair amount of number scaling and adjustment done in code that gives the Chromafury Saber its unique features!

Press the button on the hilt of the CHROMAFURY SABER and place the end of the hilt on a surface to scan the color. Scan something red to make the LEDs in the blade light up red, like the saber of the Red Ranger! Or scan something pink for a pink blade! Or blue for blue! Scans aren’t limited to Ranger colors: scan orange for an orange blade!
