Your First Look at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 From BOOM! Studios
Jump into the Fight Between the Teens with Attitude and Half-Shell Heroes in December 2019

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 30, 2019) – BOOM! Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. and in partnership with IDW and Nickelodeon, today revealed a first look at MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #1, the premiere issue of an all-new five-issue limited series event! Written by Ryan Parrott (Power Rangers: Necessary Evil) and illustrated by Simone di Meo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Venom Annual), the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fight – and maybe team up with – the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the first time in comic book history beginning December 2019.

The Power Rangers arrive in New York City to find Tommy Oliver – AKA The Mighty Morphin Green Ranger – and discover him in combat with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Rushing to his aid, the Rangers get caught up in battle with the Turtles. But afterwards, the Rangers find out that Tommy has joined forces with the villainous Shredder and the Foot Clan! Reeling from this betrayal, the Power Rangers must somehow find a way to work with the Ninja Turtles to defeat the true villains and save the world from total destruction!


MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #1 features a main cover by Dan Mora (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Once & Future), with Turtle Ranger Helmet variant covers by Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and more!

Print copies of MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #1 will be available on December 4, 2019 at local comic book shops (use comicshoplocator.com to find the one nearest you), or at the BOOM! Studios webstore. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers like comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and the BOOM! Studios app.

BOOM! Studios Announces NYCC 2019 Special Guests & Panel Programming

Discover Your Favorite Comics Creators at BOOM! Studios Booth #1828 From October 3-6, 2019 in New York

LOS ANGELES, CA (original announcement August 21, 2019, updated September 17,2019) – BOOM! Studios announced today their presence at New York Comic Con 2019 (Booth #1828) from October 3-6 at the Javits Center in New York, NY. The publisher, home to award-winning imprints BOOM! Studios, BOOM! Box, KaBOOM!, and Archaia, will host several special guests on panels and at signings throughout the weekend. Full details below.

Throughout the weekend, attendees will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the writers behind some of the most anticipated graphic fiction of 2019 during signing events including Andrew Rostan (Form of a Question), Bryan Edward Hill (Joss Whedon’s Angel), Daniele Di Nicuolo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), David Jesus Vignolli (New World), Delilah S. Fans can also see their favorite creators and hear them speak at select panels during New York Comic Con weekend. On Thursday, 10/3, BOOM! Studios presents ENTERTAINMENT IS LGBTQ, in partnership with GLAAD, for an in-depth conversation on LGBTQ representation in pop culture, BOOM! STUDIOS: DISCOVER YOURS on Friday, 10/4, where an all-star group of comic book creators discuss what’s new or exciting in the world of comics and reveal details about current and upcoming projects. At the POWER RANGERS: NECESSARY EVIL panel on Saturday, 10/5, learn the behind-the-scenes details of the biggest Power Rangers event yet from the creators, and get the chance to ask your most urgent questions about the teens with attitude.
