On Friday, September 22nd, Hasbro celebrated the fans with Hasbro Pulse Con 2023! This year, Pulse Con was all about the products and Hasbro delivered with tons of new products and announcements across fan-favorite brands such as TRANSFORMERS, G.I. JOE, POWER RANGERS, Star Wars, Marvel, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, and the latest collaboration between MAGIC: THE GATHERING and NERF!

POWER RANGERS – HASBRO PULSE CON 2023 PRODUCT EXCLUSIVES

In collaboration with the original Mighty Morphin Power Ranger and the late Jason David Frank, the Hasbro POWER RANGERS team revealed The POWER RANGERS Lightning Collection Tommy Oliver Master Morpher. In honor of Jason David Frank’s legacy and the recent reveal of The POWER RANGERS Lightning Collection Tommy Oliver Master Morpher, Hasbro has made a donation in his name to The Jed Foundation (JED), an organization that provides support and resources for mental health protection and suicide prevention among young adults and teens. Also, the POWER RANGERS team unveiled a new multipack inspired by the BOOM! Studios comic series, the POWER RANGERS Lightning Collection Omega Rangers Pack featuring Omega Red Ranger, Omega Black Ranger, Omega Yellow Ranger, and Omega Blue Ranger 6-inch figures!

POWER RANGERS LIGHTNING COLLECTION TOMMY OLIVER MASTER MORPHER

Celebrate 30 years of Power Rangers and the legacy of the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger with The Power Rangers Lightning Collection Tommy Oliver Master Morpher. This premium roleplaying collectible replicates the Master Morpher used in Power Rangers: Ninja Steel, allowing Tommy to morph into multiple Ranger forms. The Master Morpher features premium deco and includes a display stand & belt buckle, lights, sounds and original phrases. The collectible includes all-new, completely original lines recorded by Jason David Frank in his last official appearance as Tommy Oliver.

In addition to the coins seen in “Dimensions in Danger,” this version of the Master Morpher includes a never-bever-seen Turbo Red Ranger coin and includes both a White Falconzord coin and White Tigerzord coin. On Tuesday, January 17th, Hasbro and eOne kicked off the 30th Anniversary of Power Rangers with the following exciting announcements:

  • The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always stand-alone special premiering on Netflix globally on April 19, featuring the legendary Mighty Morphin cast like David Yost, Walter E. Jones, Steve Cardenas, Catherine Sutherland, Karan Ashley and Johnny Yong Bosch. Fans can view a behind-the-scenes look at the special HERE in “Rangers Reunited”.   • Suiting up for its third season, a first glimpse at Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury with the Rangers in their all-new costumes! In the history-making season, Pink Ranger star Hunter Deno will trade her suit for the Cosmic Fury Red Ranger suit, evolving into the first full-time female Red Ranger in the series. You can check out the newly designed suits in the gallery below.

  • For the Lightning Collection, Hasbro revealed all-new Lighting Collection 6-inch action figures: Lost Galaxy Pink Ranger, Dino Thunder Mesogog, Dino Fury Blue Ranger, Dino Thunder Black Ranger, Mighty Morphin Tenga Warriors Pack, Remastered Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger and Remastered Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger. On the entertainment side, Sam (Brand Writer) got to interview Executive Producer Simon Bennett, Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale, writers for the upcoming MMPR 30th Anniversary Special – Once & Always and Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. Simon Bennett took time to show off the new Cosmic Fury suits designed by costume designer Sarah Voon.

NEW YORK, NY (January 17, 2023) – It’s Morphin Time! Hasbro’s entertainment studio, eOne, announces the upcoming celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Power Rangers, with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always and Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, a scripted stand-alone anniversary special, will premiere exclusively on Netflix globally on April 19, featuring some of the franchise’s most beloved Rangers, including David Yost and Walter E. Jones from the series’ original cast, who are returning for the first time. Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury will continue the story of Power Rangers: Dino Fury, premiering exclusively on Netflix globally in Fall 2023.

In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, thirty years after the wise and powerful Zordon formed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the team comes face to face with a familiar threat from the past. Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury is the first time since the TV series launched in 1993 that the entire Ranger team will return for a third season. Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury continues the adventures of Power Rangers: Dino Fury, with the team embarking on a journey through outer space as they unlock new Cosmic powers and defend the universe against the returning infamous villain Lord Zedd.

In the history-making season, Amelia the Dino Fury Pink Ranger will trade her suit for the Cosmic Fury Red Ranger suit, evolving into the first full-time female Red Ranger in the series. In a first for the Hasbro / eOne production, Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury will feature newly designed costumes for all the core cast Ranger team, with costumes designed by Sarah Voon and all new morphers and weapons designed by Tracey Collins. Look out for exciting previews of the epic season, with Hasbro celebrating the 30th Anniversary all year long.

Simon Bennett returns as Executive Producer on both productions, with Co-Producers and Head Writers Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale.

The Power Rangers Cosmic Fury panel was hosted by Andre Meadows (@blacknerd). He was joined by the Power Rangers Dino Fury cast to discuss the newest season and updates about Cosmic Fury!

The second half of Season 2 (Episodes 12-22) has dropped exclusively on NETFLIX and is available now.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will be 10 episodes and drop on the same day worldwide on Netflix in 2023, eliminating the “international spoilers” frustration. Cosmic Fury will feature all new suits for morphed ground fights and will utilize footage from Uchu Sentai KyuRanger for the Zord footage.

There was also a special surprise as David Yost and Walter Jones announced their return to the franchise with a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special.

Coming off the heals of the release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers landmark Issue 100 this past week, Boom! Studios writers, Ryan Parrott and Melissa Flores spoke with Andre to give details on the future of the comics series.
