Join us and special guest co-hosts @TokuChris/Kickback, Susan and Mark Smith (@mainstreamlive/Arlim on Youtube) for a Ranger Convention Survival Guide: Power Morphicon.
With Power Morphicon only two weeks away, we give you the low down on what to expect at the convention and VITAL tips of every aspect of the con going experience. If you are a seasoned convention pro or a first time con goer, this episode is a must listen.
We also have a special message from AUSTIN ST. JOHN, the original Red Mighty Morphin’ Power Ranger at the beginning of our show.
“Zordon of Eltar” and “Teenagers With Attitude” are unofficial, non-profit fan films that re-imagine the saga of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
“Zordon of Eltar” is a “reboot” prequel that centers around the two quintessential characters that make up the backbone of the Power Rangers lore: Rita Repulsa and Zordon.
“Teenagers With Attitude” is the second fan film in the series. It will be a short fan film that features a re-imagined cast of the original five teens (Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy and Kimberly) before they meet Zordon and become the Power Rangers.
Cisco is planning to have the fan film screened at Power Morphicon this month.
We also discuss Kickback’s experience at San Diego Comic Con and all of the Power Rangers related news that happened there.
Join us and special Ranger Nation Spotlight guest co-host Mere aka @NightMere10 as we discuss her contribution to #RangerNation with THE POWER SCOOP. Last year she started “The Power Scoop”, a website dedicated to giving fans the latest casting information and news on Tribe of the Wild, Power Rangers and other related shows. Earlier this year she withdrew from the fandom, but has recently returned with a vengeance.
We also debunk the latest MMPR Movie Reboot rumors, give a listen to Pellek’s new Power Rangers song, discuss a new convention in the U.K. and of course, #JDFWatch2014.
