A New Threat Crashes to Earth in POWER RANGERS UNIVERSE #3

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 18, 2022) – BOOM! Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), today revealed a first look at POWER RANGERS UNIVERSE #3, from acclaimed writer Nicole Andelfinger (Dragon Prince: Bloodmoon Huntress), artist Simone Ragazzoni (Odessa), colorist Mattia Iacono, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, that will delve into the deepest origins of the Power Rangers, exploring the hidden secrets of the universe like never before!

A mysterious pod crashes on Earth, but the Morphin Master Teens are on the scene to confront whatever dangers it brings from space. While their legendary ranger forms have never made them feel so powerful against the incoming enemy invasion, what happens when their powers begin to fail… and even hurt them?

POWER RANGERS UNIVERSE #3 features main cover art by Dan Mora (Once & Future) and variant cover art by illustrators Junggeun Yoon (Moon Knight), Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Jo Mi-Gyeong (Eve), and David Nakayama (Spider-man).

Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 29 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history, with over 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the series will celebrate its 29th overall season in Spring 2022, with season two of “Power Rangers Dino Fury,” airing exclusively on Netflix in the U.S.
