The Gold Ranger has arrived on Power Rangers Dino Charge – but exactly who is the Gold Ranger?
Ivan, the Gold Ranger, is a valiant and brave knight from the ancient kingdom of Zandar. With a gentle and kind soul, he values honesty and loyalty above all else. Since Ivan is literally a figure from the past, he often uses odd, antiquated phrases resulting in some very amusing cultural clashes. Thankfully, he has his new friends, the Power Rangers, to help him understand and navigate the modern world.
800 years ago, the 18-year-old Ivan was escorting the Prince of Zandar through the woods when he came across the Gold Energem in a creek. Both knight and prince were viciously attacked by Fury, who trapped Ivan’s entire being into his body while Ivan was trying to protect the Prince. Ivan was then kept captive for many centuries, until the Power Rangers Dino Charge discovered the Gold Energem and helped him break out of his prison from within Fury.

WHAT: For the first time ever Saban’s Power Rangers participated in the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. As one of the largest balloon festivals in the world, an estimated 500,000 spectators were in attendance and watching as more than 100 hot air balloons took to the skies during the four-day celebration. Saban’s Power Rangers debuted two brand-new Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers balloons at the festival’s Night Glow event on Thursday evening. As the only brand with two balloons featured in the event, the Power Rangers balloons were designed in the likeness of the iconic Red and Pink Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers helmets. Visitors of the festival were also able to watch the Power Rangers balloon teams prep, inflate, launch and land the POWERED UP balloons throughout the remaining three days of the event.

There’s no doubt that the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Megazord is iconic. Over the years, this toy has been produced multiple times in different incarnations. Even this year we’ve got the Imaginext version, a reissue of last year’s Legacy version and an upcoming Black and Gold Edition.
Now, Saban Brands has tasked Ranger Nation to help them induct nominate the iconic Power Rangers Megazord for the National Toy Hall of Fame!
Every year the National Toy Hall of Fame inducts two classic toys that have continuously delighted both younger and older generations. And what toy is more LEGENDARY than the Power Rangers Megazord? This toy was truly the first of its kind and has continued to be a fan-favorite, reinvigorated with each new Power Rangers theme over the past 22 years.
