NEWS – Shout! Factory and PlutoTV Launch TokuSHOUTsu Channel

If you’re into Power Rangers (and we hope you are if you’re following us!), chances are you know about Super Sentai and the Tokusatsu genre. If you don’t, Shout! Factory TV and Pluto TV have you covered with a new channel called TokuSHOUTsu.

TokuSHOUTsu will be streaming Super Sentai, Ultraman, and for the first time – Kamen Rider!

If you have a streaming tv, Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, or a computer, tune in at Midnight PT on Tuesday, March 17th.

For Power Rangers fans, Jason Narvy (Skull in various Power Rangers series) joins the channel as the resident Tokusatsu Expert on “Let’s Talk Toku”, one of the new original series for the channel.

In this episode we welcome back Steven Zurita of Hyperdrive Pictures on Youtube. We talk about the new guests at Power Morphicon and Steven announces a new morphing video project to be filmed at Power Morphicon where he needs Ranger Nation’s help!

Then, we read your Ranger Nation Answers on if our listeners have ever watched Godzilla or Ultraman. Finally, Eric covers G-Fest 2016 with panels from Akira Takarada, star of the original Godzilla; Satoshi Bin Furuya, the suit actor of the original Ultraman; and Hiroko Sakurai who played Akiko Fuji in the Ultraman series.

G-FEST is a family-oriented convention which caters to a wide variety of interests within the kaiju genre. It is the largest regular gathering of Godzilla and Japanese monster fans in the world.
