The news just doesn’t stop from New York Comic Con!
Lionsgate has provided fan sites an exclusive image from the new Power Rangers movie, releasing March 24, 2017. In the image, the Rangers are examining a cliff face. Is this an entrance to the Power Chamber? Rita’s Dumpster? It looks like we will find out tomorrow when the new trailer (hopefully) debuts.

Thanks to Saban Brands and Lionsgate, we’ve been given the first look at the Red Ranger’s movie sword in the upcoming Power Rangers film, hitting theaters March 24, 2017!
The iconic Red Ranger Power Sword has been re-imagined and rebooted. With New York Comic Con happening in the next couple days, anticipation is high for a potential trailer.
Speaking of NYCC, Bandai America is releasing the first movie toy at the show. It will be a limited-edition Legacy Collection Movie Red Ranger with his sword and power coin! Only 1,000 have been made and each day, there will be limited quantities available at Bandai’s booth, #1628.
Today, Lionsgate revealed their plans for a New York Comic Con panel and new teaser posters with the Power Rangers helmetless and sitting on their respective Zords.
On Saturday, October 8th at 2pm in the theater at Madison Square Garden, the cast of Saban’s Power Rangers will be on the panel for the new movie. Everyone in the fandom hopes that this panel unveils the first teaser trailer!
