(NASDAQ: HAS), revealed a first look at MIGHTY MORPHIN #22 (LEGACY #98), continuing the brand new story arc from highly acclaimed new writer Mat Groom (Ultraman), artist Moisés Hidalgo (Dark Blood), colorist Raúl Angulo, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, as the Power Rangers struggle to build a brand new team to face down new enemies and an uncertain future, in conjunction with the Mighty Morphin series CHARGE TO 100, available in August 2022.

A RANGER RETURNS! With their help, the team can finally stand a chance in battle, but not without consequences. Will the Rangers forge a new path together despite their differences?  Meanwhile, Kim receives some much-needed perspective from a fellow Ranger, offering her a glimpse of hope for the future. MIGHTY MORPHIN #22 (LEGACY #98) features main cover art by acclaimed illustrator InHyuk Lee (Seven Secrets), and variant cover art by fan-favorite artists Eleonora Carlini (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Monika Palosz (Power Rangers), and Vincenzo Riccardi (Something is Killing the Children).

Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 29 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history, with over 900 episodes aired to date. NEWS – Plastic-Free Packaging Letter From Hasbro

UPDATE (4/6/2023): This initiative has been cancelled due to fan response. Starting later in 2023, windowed packaging will use bio PET or recycled PET.

Below is a letter we received direct from Hasbro regarding their Plastic-Free Packaging initiatives. For Power Rangers fans, more details will be released “in the coming weeks”, most likely with the next wave of announcements during Pulse Con.

Hello –

Thank you for being a continued fan of Hasbro and its iconic brands. With more exciting reveals to come with this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, we wanted to reach out to share a little more information on Hasbro’s transition to plastic-free packaging.

At Hasbro, we have set a goal to eliminate virtually all plastic from new, single-use product packaging by the end of 2022. The company is currently on track to meet its industry-leading goal, reducing the use of virgin plastic by an estimated 19.5 million pounds annually.

What does this mean for products from fan-favorite Hasbro brands? You may have already noticed the transition to new plastic-free packaging within some kid-focused figures, and most 6-inch figures will transition to plastic-free packaging by early 2023. Today, we wanted to give you an early look at what to expect.

We’ve included a few examples here of what the new plastic-free packaging will look like across several brands. This includes an example of a Stormtrooper figure from the 2020 Star Wars: The Black Series line, as well as the G.I. JOE Classified Series Kamakura, Marvel Legends Series 6 Inch X-Men 90s Animated Series, and Marvel Legends Series Spider-Man Beyond Amazing: Iron Spider & Amazing Fantasy #15, all available now for order or pre-order. The Power Rangers Lightning Collection lines will reveal new plastic-free packaging in the coming weeks.

As part of the shift away from window boxes, you’ll see highly detailed artwork and exciting new imagery on each package featuring iconic characters and their figures inside. This includes new packaging art that will showcase the articulation and poseability of each figure.

Our goal does not include packaging for fan collectible products like 3.75” action figures, where packaging is part of the product experience and typically retained intact for fan display and collections. Those lines include Star Wars Vintage and Retro, as well as other collectible brands such as Marvel Retro and the G.I. JOE Retro. In support of Hasbro’s lower carbon strategy and upcoming science-based targets, our fan collectible blister packaging will continue to be made with either plant-based or recycled PET content.

HASBRO ANNOUNCES NEW PERSONALIZATION PLATFORM WITH ITS FIRST INTRODUCTION THROUGH “HASBRO SELFIE SERIES”

Launching Fall 2022 Exclusively on the Hasbro Pulse Mobile App, Hasbro Selfie Series Lets Fans Imagine Themselves as Their Favorite G.I. JOE, Ghostbusters, Power Rangers, Marvel, and Star Wars™ Heroes

PAWTUCKET, RI – July 13– Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) announced its new personalization platform with its first product introduction through Hasbro Selfie Series. The custom offering allows fans to create a collector-grade 6-inch action figure in their likeness based on classic to current characters seen across popular films, television series and comics. Hasbro Selfie Series figures will debut with fan-favorite character costume designs from G.I. JOE, Ghostbusters, Power Rangers, and Marvel, as well as designs inspired by Star Wars™ heroes. This one-of-a-kind experience will be launching in Fall 2022 exclusively on the Hasbro Pulse mobile app (for fans aged 16 and older in the US only), for iOS and Android devices.

Fans attending San Diego Comic-Con (July 21-24) will have the opportunity to preview Hasbro Selfie Series figures, with a select number of fans being among the first to create and purchase their figures, shipping Fall 2022. SDCC (San Diego Comic Convention) attendees should visit the Hasbro Pulse Info Desk in Booth #3213 to obtain a ticket for an assigned time slot.  Limited tickets available, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hasbro Selfie Series figures are Hasbro’s first introduction to its innovative, new personalization platform. Using proprietary software and in partnership with a leading 3D printing company, Formlabs, Hasbro is giving fans a chance to digitally transform themselves into the action figure with the costume from the heroes they see on-screen and imagine themselves as part of the stories they love. From a Star Wars Rebel Alliance X-wing pilot, morphing into a Power Ranger, silently stalking Cobra as Snake Eyes, or swinging through the New York cityscape like Spider-Man, fans can indulge in the ultimate consumer experience with Hasbro Selfie Series figures.

(NASDAQ: HAS), revealed a first look at POWER RANGERS #21 (LEGACY #97), from writer Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin, Power Rangers), artist Marco Renna (Mighty Morphin), colorists Walter Baiamonte with assistance by Sharon Marino and Sara Antonellini, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, in conjunction with the Mighty Morphin series CHARGE TO 100, in July 2022!

Jason is determined to help a grieving friend find a lost ally, no matter the danger and no matter the cost. However, things aren’t as they seem when the opportunity for an unexpected betrayal arises… leading to the reveal of a NEW RANGER.

POWER RANGERS #21 (LEGACY #97) features main cover art by acclaimed illustrator Guillaume Martinez (Power Rangers Universe), and variant covers by Daniele Di Nicuolo (Seven Secrets) with Walter Baiamonte, Jake Wyatt (Ms. Marvel), and illustrator Darya Guryeva.

Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 29 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history, with over 900 episodes aired to date.
